WALPOLE (CBS) – Police have been able to get more information about a hit and run driver who seriously injured a bicyclist in Walpole on Saturday.

The woman was riding southbound on Washington Street near Clinton Avenue around 11:30 p.m. Saturday when a passing truck drove into her.

After undergoing neck and spinal surgery, the victim was finally able to talk to police on Wednesday.

She described the vehicle as a dark-colored pick-up, similar to a Ford F-150.

Police believe the truck has damage to the front headlight area.

Walpole police did recover debris from the truck at the scene. They are asking anyone who may have seen anything to call them.
