BOSTON (CBS) – Two more people have contracted mosquito-borne viruses in Massachusetts.

The Department of Public Health announced Tuesday that a fifth person has tested positive for Eastern Equine Encephalitis (EEE), an Essex County man in his 70’s.  He is still in the hospital.

The 15th human case of West Nile Virus was also reported Tuesday. Health officials say he’s a Dorchester resident in his 40′s. He is the second Boston resident diagnosed with WNV. He was hospitalized but has since been released.
