BOSTON (CBS) – The Boston Bruins continue to lock up the core of their team for the long term, signing left winger Milan Lucic to a three-year contract extension.
The deal, first reported by The Boston Globe’s Kevin Paul Dupont, is $6 million a year for three years.
The 24-year-old’s current contract would have expired at the end of the upcoming season, a season that, with a lockout looming, may not take place.
The Bruins signed Tyler Seguin and Brad Marchand to extensions earlier this week.
