The NFL regular season gets started tonight when the New York Giants and Dallas Cowboys.

The NFL Network’s Bert Breer spoke with 98.5 The Sports Hub’s Toucher & Rich about how he sees this season shaking out for teams across the league, what two teams will meet in the Super Bowl, who will come out on top and some sleeper picks?

Some people have the Cincinnati Bengals making the playoffs this season and Breer had them as a sleeper in the AFC. What did Breer like about what he saw in Bengals camp?

“I’m looking at it across the board and I saw size and speed everywhere.”

Breer predicted that the Houston Texans will be the team from the AFC that makes it to the Super Bowl, but why?

“I think one of the reasons why is because they are the most balanced team.”

“I think that the Texans are the only team in the AFC that’s got a real chance to be elite on both sides of the ball and to me they’ve got less holes than anybody else.”

Even though Breer thinks so highly of the Texans he thinks they’ll fall to his pick from the NFC.

“I pick the Packers to win the Super Bowl, I just think the Packers are in..the Packers are kind of where the Patriots were in ’03 and ’04 when they really had it going on. That window is wide open for the Packers now where they’re going to be competing for a Super Bowl championship each and every year.”
