The child fell from a second-story window at this home on Hancock Street.
WORCESTER (CBS) – A two-year-old boy survived a plunge from a second story window at a home in Worcester Monday.
WBZ NewsRadio 1030′s Art Cohen reports
Deputy fire chief Jeffrey Gardell said crews raced to the house on Hancock Street around 10 a.m. and found the toddler in his mother’s arms.
“He had a visible bump on his forehead, but he was alert and conscious, crying along with the mom. I guess the kid did fall probably 12 to 14 feet,” he told WBZ NewsRadio 1030.
It appears the boy pushed through a window screen.
He was taken to the hospital to be examined and treated.
