BOSTON (CBS) – Old North Church is about to provide some relief to the scores of tourists looking for a bathroom in the North End.
The oldest church in Boston just opened two public restrooms, according to North End Waterfront.
The restrooms will be opened on a trial basis. They’re located in the gift shop’s basement.
There will be a suggested $1 donation for each visit. The church hopes that the donations will be able to cover the costs of cleaning and maintenance.
For those who don’t know, finding a public restroom in the North End can be almost as difficult as finding parking there.
