BOSTON (CBS) – A young driver is facing charges for allegedly leading police on a chase in a stolen SUV from South Boston to Burlington.
State police say 19-year-old David Pare of Westwood took off during a traffic stop on L Street around 9:30 p.m. Sunday.
Troopers followed him up Interstate 93 and over to Route 128 in Burlington, where they were able to put out stop sticks to flatten the SUV’s tires.
A police cruiser was damaged in the chase.
Pare faces several charges.
