LOWELL (CBS) – Lowell Police have a mystery on their hands.
The body of a teenage boy was found Monday evening in the Lowell High School pool.
A swim club had unlocked the doors to the indoor pool to conduct their weekly workout, when they discovered the body.
“Right now, we do not think foul play was involved,” said Deputy Supt. Arthur Ryan,”we do believe he drowned.”
Police would not say how the teenager got into the locked facility, or how long he may have been there.
When asked if there was any identification on the body, Deputy Ryan declined to answer, saying they had to locate next of kin.
