Raisman actually finished in a tie for third but lost the tiebreaker to Aliya Mustafina of Russia.

Teammate Gabby Douglas took the gold.

The competition will be broadcast Thursday night on national television.

Needham Selectman Chairman Jerry Wasserman said he didn't want to make Raisman's hometown have to wait until Thursday night to watch.

He said Raisman is all anyone is talking about. That's why he opened up town hall so they could watch it live.

Raisman helped carry the USA Women's Gymnastic Olympic Team to a gold medal in the all-around team competition.
