ESPN analyst Terry Francona made an appearance in the Red Sox clubhouse on Saturday in New York. Francona, who was in New York preparing for Sunday’s broadcast of the Red Sox-Yankees game, spent some time chatting with former players in the clubhouse.
Valentine was reportedly in his office with his door closed while Francona chatted with the players. On Sunday Francona apologized to Valentine via text message.
Shaugnessy was in the clubhouse that day during the visit and discussed what he saw with Gresh & Zo.
