WALPOLE (CBS) – Indecent assault charges against Walpole priest have been dropped, after his accuser told prosecutors he did not want to testify.
The Norfolk County District Attorney said charges against Blessed Sacrament priest Emile “Mike” Boutin were officially withdrawn on Tuesday.
Back in 2010, a 21-year-old man told police Boutin had followed him into the woods behind the Route 138 Park and Ride lot in Canton and grabbed him inappropriately.
The Boston Archdiocese banned Boutin from public ministry while the case was pending.
