BROCKTON (CBS) – One pit bull was found dead after being left in the 90-degree heat without food or water in Brockton on Sunday.
WBZ NewsRadio 1030′s Kim Tunnicliffe reports.
The dog’s owner, Monje Joseph, will likely face animal cruelty charges.
A man helping his father move out of the three-family apartment building on Montello Street noticed one of the dogs lying on its side and panting for breath.
That dog, which later died, was one of four pit bulls that had been left outside in the intense heat.
“A witness tried to give the dog water. Since this dog had expired, Animal Control had taken three other dogs in custody for their health and welfare,” said
The other three dogs were found in very poor condition.
