DRACUT (CBS) – Police are looking for a Dracut man missing since Tuesday.
Leo Coutu recently retired from his job as a corrections officer at the state’s maximum security prison in Shirley.
He went for a walk Tuesday evening saying he’d be back soon, and hasn’t been seen since.
State police used dogs and a helicopter to search for him Friday and Saturday, and planned on continuing their search on Sunday.
“It is very important to note that he has never disappeared before, and this is completely out of his character. My father is very close to my mother, my sisters and I, so it is hard to believe he would purposefully not be in contact with us,” said Jacqueline Coutu, his daughter.
State Police say, at this point, they have no evidence of foul play in Coutu’s disappearance.
