BOSTON (CBS) – The Colorado Avalanche signed free agent defenseman Greg Zanon on Sunday, according TSN’s Bob McKenzie.

Zanon received a two-year deal for $4.5 million.

He played 17 games for the Bruins last season after he was acquired in a mid-season trade with the Wild. He finished with one goal and one assist with Boston.

In the playoffs, he finished with one assist in seven games.
