NH Youth Coach Charged With Sexual Assault

LEE, NH (CBS) - Police are concerned there could be more potential victims of a well-known coach accused of assaulting boys.

Concord Police arrested Robert Joubert for alleged assaults from 1994 to 2004. The alleged victims are grown men, but police say Joubert was working as a coach more recently in other areas.

The website for his business called Seacoast Baseball Academy, based in York, Maine, says he's been coaching young players for decades. He traveled all over New England for coaching jobs, including in New Hampshire, Maine and Massachusetts.

"We have concerns it's possible there could be other juvenile victims," says Concord Police Lt. Timothy O'Malley. "There may be other witnesses or people that have information, so please call us. It's a public safety issue."

Since the investigation spans such a large area through several states, the FBI is heading up the investigation, and has set up a special phone number. Anyone with information is asked to call 1-800-CALL-FBI.
