BOSTON (CBS) – Boston Police are searching for a driver who struck and killed a woman in Hyde Park early Saturday morning.

It happened at about 4:45 a.m.

Witnesses tell police a black Jeep Liberty hit the woman in the area of River and Rosa Streets. The driver did not stop to check on the victim’s condition.

She later died at Boston Medical Center. The Jeep has a black wheel cover with red and blue lettering.
