Music To Our Ears: Allston/Brighton Tolls Free For One Hour Friday

BOSTON (CBS) – This will be music to commuters’ ears. The Allston/Brighton tolls will be free on Friday June 22 from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.

The Boston Symphony Orchestra – in honor of Tanglewood’s 75th Anniversary Season – is going to foot the entire bill.

Drivers must still stop at the tollbooth or go through the FastLane/E-ZPass lanes with their transponders.

Those with transponders will see a credit and message from BSO and Tanglewood on their next statement.

Last year at the same time, 7,590 cars rolled through the tolls.
