Gresh & Zo: Do The Bruins Need To Make Moves To Get Better This Offseason?

It was reported earlier this week the Boston Bruins had re-signed third-line center Chris Kelly and Bruins fourth-liner Gregory Campbell to new contracts. The team officially announced the Campbell deal on Wednesday, and that they have agreed to principle on a deal with Kelly.

Gresh & Zo discussed the re-signings, but do the B's still need to do more to get better and are there holes to fill?

One of these holes that Gresh thinks needs to be addressed is left by Nathan Horton. Horton only played 46 games this season after sustaining a concussion from a hit by Philadelphia Flyer Tom Sestito on January 22nd. Gresh believes that Bruins GM needs to plan that Horton will not be able to give the team very much.

Another hole that the Bruins have to deal with is Tim Thomas. The B's netminder announced a few weeks ago that he plans to sit out the next NHL season. Gresh believes the Bruins might not even know all their options with the Thomas situation. What if the the moody Thomas wakes up and decides to change his mind?

All of the Thomas stuff aside, the guys can agree that this group is made up of a bunch of likable players that play hard and play for each other.

Do the Bruins stay the course with the guys that they have or do they try and tweak things to get better? Could they pull out a move for a game-changer? Is bringing up Dougie Hamilton enough?

Zo thinks that the B's need to go out and make a move for an impact scorer after the trouble scoring in the playoffs. Do you agree? Let us know in the comments section!
