Belmont Stakes: What Does A Jockey Actually Do?

BOSTON (CBS) – The Belmont Stakes will go off without I’ll Have Another and the possibility of a Triple Crown.

The Kentucky Derby and Preakness winner injured his left front tendon and retired Friday, creating an opening for the rest of the field. Darrell Haire piloted 1980 Belmont winner Temperence Hill, just weeks before the horse won the Belmont.

WBZ’S Drew Moholland, spoke with Haire, before the big race.
