Memorial Day 2012

It will be a mainly dry Memorial Day '12.  There will be lots of clouds as well as a slim chance of an afternoon or evening shower/thunder, mainly north and west. Highs will be in the upper 70s to lower 80s inland...middle 60s to lower 70s coast.

A stalled front will gradually move northward as a warm front tonight into Tuesday. Because of this front draping the region, we can't rule out a shower or thunderstorm throughout this time period, especially north and west of Boston. That being said, a renegade shower/storm could affect nearly any neighborhood in our viewing area.  Tuesday's highs temps will be near 80F...upper 60s to lower 70s for the coast.

A cold front that rolls through early Wedensday morning will spawn showers and thunderstorms through midday. Then, partly cloudy skies along with a few spot storms can be expected later in the day as another shot of cool air sweeps across Southern New England. Highs will be in the lower to middle 80s.

Drier air works in behind the cold front. The end result will be a beautiful Thrusday with sunshine, drier air, and breezy west-northwest winds. Highs will be in the middle to upper 70s.

The month of June will kick-off this Friday with sunshine along with more clouds during the evening hours. Highs will be near 80F.

The first weekend of June is looking rainy for Saturday with more promise of sunshine on Sunday.

Happy Memorial Day! Thanks to all of our Servicemen and women who have served, who are serving, and who will service our Country.

~Melissa :)
