Attleboro Student Faces Charges For "Fake Columbine" Senior Prank Tweet

ATTLEBORO (CBS) - An Attleboro High School student has been summonsed to court for allegedly mentioning a Columbine-type threat on Twitter.

Officers say 18-year-old Nicole Lee posted a note suggesting a "fake Columbine" would be a great senior prank.

Attleboro Det. Sgt. Art Brillon says that even though the teen said it would be a fake, they had to take it seriously.

Lee has been suspended from school. Police plan to charge her with willfully communicating a threat.

In March, two former Attleboro High students were charged after posting a comment about a Columbine-style attack on Facebook.
