The title is a reminder…Mother’s Day is right around the corner.
Today will be sunny to start, but clouds will build around midday and produce a few spot showers/thunder throughout the afternoon. It’s going to be a comfortable day with highs in the middle 60s to near 70F. Winds will be blowing from the west-northwest at a 10-20 mph pace.
Mother’s Day weekend…Saturday will be stellar as the sun will be shining and temperatures will be rising into the middle and upper 70s! Mother’s Day will begin with sunshine along with some clouds and eventually there will a slight risk of a few showers/storms developing, mainly after 2pm. Highs will reach midl territory again in the middle 70s.
The cold front that drapes the region on Mother’s Day will stall out through the middle part of next week. This means unsettled weather can be expected through mid-week before more stable conditions set-in later in the week.
Happy Mother’s Day (in advance)…Happy FRRRiday! :)
