Front Row Live Music Pick: School Of Seven Bells

BOSTON (CBS) - School of Seven Bells (usually abbreviated SVIIB) is a pop-shoegaze duo out of Brooklyn that gives love to the argument that Brooklyn is the current petri dish for modern music. Alejandra Deheza and Benjamin Curtis deliver an fresh mix of introspective vibe and poppy electronic tones. Benjamin comes to the band via "Secret Machines."

SVIIB's current album, "Ghostory" is thick with dusky vocals and ambient guitar that slides between catchy electronic waves. It tells the tale of a young girl named Lafaye and the love that flows in and out of her life, but it is actually the story of the band.

Also, as a bonus, School of Seven Bells will be releasing an exclusive 7-inch on April 21! The new 7-inch will feature the band's styling of Siouxsie and the Banshees' "Kiss Them For Me".

Don't miss School Of Seven Bells at the Brighton Music Hall May 4th.
