Stiemsma With Toucher & Rich: 'Surprising We Don't Score More'

The Celtics were down in Miami on Tuesday night and left with the victory after they beat the Heat 115-107. The Green are number one in the Atlantic Division with a three game lead with just nine left to play.

Celtics center Greg Stiemsma spoke with Toucher & Rich about dealing the Heat another loss, the amount of whining the Heat do and the improved rebounding.

The Miami Heat were really looking to beat the Celtics in Tuesday night's showdown after falling to them in dramatic fashion just over a week ago. How is the team feeling after the big win?

"It feels good, we wanted to kind of make it a statement game when we played them the first time and when we got down to South Beach we just wanted to kind of continue that momentum we had at the Garden and bring it down there."

After the loss to the Chicago Bulls Doc Rivers criticized the play of his team and didn't pull any punches. How much did that talk from Doc motivate the team if at all?

"Everything he said we were kind of thinking in our heads, but just for him to say it really motivated us, really got us going."

The 115 points the C's put up is a season high right now, was that game an example of the best execution of their offense all season?

"Last night we were just clicking. We have so many talented weapons on offense that it's almost surprising we don't score more."

The guys also discussed Kevin Garnett waving Stiemsma off thinking he was up to come in for him. Plus, have they been practicing their rebounding?
