FREMONT, N.H. (AP) — New Hampshire fire officials are blaming a candle for a fire the destroyed a mobile home in Fremont and seriously injured a 67-year-old woman.
Officials say Karen Heddemon of Hampstead suffered head and facial injuries when she attempted to put out the fire, which was reported at 7:35 p.m. Friday.
Heddemon was treated for her injuries and then transported to Massachusetts General Hospital for further treatment.
