Red Sox Assign Pitchers Cook, Ohlendorf To Pawtucket
BOSTON (CBS) – The Red Sox assigned pitchers Aaron Cook and Ross Ohlendorf to Triple-A Pawtucket on Tuesday.
Cook was an early candidate for one of the final two spots in the rotation, and opened some eyes with an impressive spring. The 33-year-old righty went 1-0 with a 1.88 ERA over 14.2 innings pitched this spring, picking up the win in the Red Sox' final game at JetBlue Park.
