Reports: Patriots Extend Exclusive Rights Tender To Kyle Love
BOSTON (CBS) – The New England Patriots are taking care of some of their own business before the NFL's free agency period begins Tuesday afternoon.
New England has extended an exclusive rights free-agent tender to defensive tackle Kyle Love, according to multiple reports. Not tendering Love would have made the 25-year-old a free agent and free to sign with any other team.

Love made big strides in his second NFL season, finding his way on the field for all 16 games, including 13 starts. Love registered 33 tackles and three sacks lining up alongside nose tackle Vince Wilfork last season, adding another seven tackles in the playoffs.
