Hamilton Sergeant Found Dead After Allegedly Shooting Beverly Cop

Beverly police officer Jason Lantych was shot outside this Starbucks on Enon Street Feb. 24.

BEVERLY (CBS) – A Hamilton Police Sergeant accused of shooting a Beverly Police officer has been found dead.

Police say Ken Nagy, a Hamilton police officer, shot Beverly Police officer Jason Lantych.

Lantych was shot outside a Starbucks on Enon Street. Witnesses say he was shot twice, once in the hip and once in the arm.

Customers at the Starbucks tended to the victim before an ambulance took him to the hospital. Lantych underwent surgery at Beverly Hospital and is expected to survive.

Nagy returned to the scene and was found dead in his car of an apparent suicide.

You ever been to Hamilton? You get pulled over for no reason, get your car searched if your from out of town, and they literally tell you to “stay the hell out of Hamilton”. So now one of these meatheads go overboard and heads to the next town over and start shooting. Like no one saw this one coming? With a little luck, the State Police will come down and check out the Hamilton Police (and Wenham too) ass see whats really going on in these little towns. Hitlers SS look at these cops and say “wow”……. About time to clean house at BOTH small town PDs and start acting like police instead of judge and jury……
