BOSTON (CBS) - When many animal lovers are looking to add a furry member to the family, they will try a shelter or rescue group first. These are animals that may or may not have been in bad situations, and are now looking for a new, loving home. Yet more and more, these potential pet owners are being turned away, sometimes for things as simple as having the wrong kitchen floor material, or too many steps leading to the front door. Emily Yoffe, columnist for Slate Magazine, joins Dan to talk about how hard it's become to rescue a pet.
