WASHINGTON (CBS) – Apparently, there’s no limit to Patriots pride among local leaders. But there is a limit to how they can show it.

U.S. Senator Jeanne Shaheen put up a “Go Patriots!” sign on her window in the Senate office building. But that’s forbidden in the Senate.

The rules committee sent Shaheen, D-NH, a letter reminding her that “unseemly” public displays are not allowed.

The signs are now gone.

Oh that’s priceless. Apparently supporting the local football team is “unseemly” but supporting legislation because someone paid you to is not?

She forgot that she is in Washington now and not in the “Live Free or Die” state.
You know, the state where the legislators want kids on college campuses to have a right to bear arms.
