Thieves Steal Thousands From Yarmouth Gas Station
YARMOUTH (CBS) - Yarmouth police are looking for a gang of thieves who managed to clean out a convenience store.
The thieves broke into a Hess gas station store Sunday morning, and got away with thousands of dollars, according to Dept. Chief Steve Xiarhos.
"This was a very professional group," said Dep. Xiarhos. "They first cut the alarm wires to the building, then quickly broke in and retreated, waiting to see if police showed up."
Police were not alerted because the alarm system was disarmed.
After a short wait, the thieves returned, armed with power tools.

They broke into the store safe and emptied it. They ripped the door off the ATM and took all the cash.
The crooks managed to disarm the alarm, but the entire event was captured by surveillance cameras.
The problem is, police say, the thieves wore hooded sweatshirts, and ski masks, so police have limited descriptions.
