Man And Child Killed In Crash On Route 3 In Weymouth
WEYMOUTH (CBS) – A man and child were killed in a crash on Route 3 in Weymouth Monday evening.
State Police responded to the scene south of Exit 16 just after 7:00 p.m.
Police say the man and a child were transported by ambulance to South Shore Hospital, where they were pronounced dead.
Investigators say the man was not wearing a seat belt and the child was in a car seat.
The left lane of Route 3 southbound remains closed while troopers investigate.
