BOSTON (CBS) – Joseph P. Kennedy III is reportedly strongly considering a run for Congress in Massachusetts.

According to WRNI, Kennedy is “taking a serious look at running for the seat vacated by Rep. Barney Frank.”

Kennedy is the son of former U.S. Rep. Joseph Kennedy II and the grandson of Robert F. Kennedy.

Kennedy, 31, currently works for the Middlesex County District Attorney’s office as a prosecutor and previously worked as a prosecutor in the Cape and Islands District Attorney’s Office.
