BRAINTREE (CBS) – Shoppers packed stores on Mega Monday, the day after Christmas.

Some shoppers returned items Santa Claus didn’t quite get right, while others were looking for another great deal.
Gift cards, meanwhile, have become a popular item as well during the holiday season. A financial consulting group estimates that over the past six years, $41 billion in gift cards have gone unused.

In the midst of crowds and crazy sales, there’s husbands lounging in the mall seating areas.
“Every time I sit here, 99 percent of people are men, while the wives are in shopping,” said George Jenkins.
