Chara Game-Time Decision Against Senators
BOSTON (CBS) - Boston Bruins captain Zdeno Chara hit the ice in Ottawa Wednesday morning for the first time since suffering a "lower body" injury Saturday night against Columbus.
The defenseman said he felt okay after his first time out, but his status still remains unclear for Wednesday night's game against the Senators.
"Probably most likely not," Chara said when asked if he would play. "But again, it's a game-time decision."

"It was the first time on the ice in three-four days. I didn't expect to be feeling great, but I didn't feel bad. That's a good thing," said Chara.
Earlier Wednesday, Bruins general manager Peter Chiarelli put Chara at 50-50 for Wednesday night.
"I would expect to see him in on Saturday [against Philadelphia]," Chiarelli told 98.5 The Sports Hub's Toucher & Rich. "I think he's been riding the bike and looking decent and better. I don't know about tonight though."
The fact Chara traveled with the team to Ottawa was a good sign. If he was already ruled out for the game, he would have remained back in Boston.
His travel, and participation in Wednesday morning's skate, is a good sign the Bruins captain will return sooner rather than later.
