NH Dad Remembers Son After Police Recover Stolen Pearl Jam Guitar
DURHAM, N.H. (CBS) – A stolen 1972 Fender Telecaster electric guitar has been recovered in Vermont.
Listen to the interview with Stephen Hardy:
It was autographed by members of Pearl Jam for Josh Hardy, a teenager with a brain tumor, who died two decades ago. His brother Ben had the guitar taken from his home in Vermont.
Josh’s dad, Stephen Hardy, spoke to WBZ NewsRadio 1030’s Drew Moholland, from the family’s home in Durham, N.H.
He said his son received the guitar in 1991 in Seattle during an amazing Make A Wish trip.
The guitar and other items were taken from Ben Hardy’s home between Thanksgiving and Dec. 5, while he was away.
Police arrested 25-year-old Jeffrey Leduc and 51-year-old Timothy Crews of Burlington, Vermont.
