This photo from Natick police shows the suspects wanted for breaking into cars at the mall.
NATICK (CBS) A couple of thieves are using the holiday shopping season as an opportunity to steal.
Natick police say the two men are breaking into cars in a garage at the Natick Mall while owners are inside shopping.
Investigators have clear surveillance video of the crooks weaving in and out of rows of cars.
Police say they’re looking for a quick hit, looking for unlocked cars with packages, electronics, and anything else of value in plain view.
Of course, the problem is hardly confined to Natick.
WBZ-TV’s Jack Williams reports
Each holiday season, local police departments add patrols in shopping districts and area malls add security to keep an extra eye out for crooks.
Natick police are reminding shoppers to always lock your car.
