BOSTON (CBS) – Free agent forward Glen ‘Big Baby’ Davis spent much of his free time during the NBA lockout building a model TD Garden made up entirely of Popsicle sticks.
Well, that is according to a video he released on Twitter on Tuesday.
In the spoof video, Davis starts by saying, “I’ve been trying to be productive during the lockout.”
He then describes how he has taken up knitting, including stitching together a sweater for Paul Pierce.
“This downtime has really taught me that there’s more to life than just basketball,” Davis says in the video.
The video concludes with Davis learning that the lockout is over.
Watch the video to find out what happens next:
Davis had a career year for the C’s in 2010-11, averaging 11.7 points and 5.5 rebounds over 78 games. He is a free agent but has expressed interest in re-signing with the Celtics.
