CONCORD, N.H. (CBS/AP) — Helped by last week’s snow storm, several New Hampshire ski areas are open for business, though most have limited lift service and only a handful of trails ready.
The open resorts include Attitash, Bretton Woods, Cannon Mountain, Loon Mountain and Waterville Valley. Cranmore Mountain’s “Mountain Coaster” is open Friday, with skiing starting on Saturday.
Other areas plan early or mid-December start dates.
Vermont also says many of its ski areas have opened up for the season.
