BOSTON (CBS) - Black Friday is just around the corner and beating the crowds can prove to be a major challenge.

Smart shoppers will do the research ahead of time and know exactly what they're after.

Already, information about deals has started to leak out online. Here are a few important links to help you prepare for the madness of shopping on Black Friday.

The Deals:  You could type in the web addresses for every single retailer in the greater Boston region.  Or... check out blackfriday.info.  They've compiled an extensive A-Z list of Black Friday sales.

The Fliers: Want to spend your day flipping through dozens and dozens of newspaper circulars? Neither do we. Blackfridayads.com has a sneak peak of dozens of Black Friday fliers from all of your major retailers.

The Hours: If you want to be first in line, stop reading this.  Now immediately get in the car and drive to the store of choice.  If you're a little less daring, here's a list of Black Friday hours at stores and malls in Mass.

(Note:  Many stores have pulled back on plans to open on Thanksgiving because of Mass. Blue Laws)

Watch Out For Scams: The FBI is warning consumers to keep an eye out for scams during the holiday shopping season.

The Gifts:  Stumped on what to buy? Whether it's gifts for the kids or the season's must-haves, CBSBoston.com has a whole mess of holiday gift ideas in our special Holiday Season section.  So, Get Shopping!
