Neighbors said the victim, who was found dead inside the home, lived in the house on Long View Road with his parents.

The parents and another person escaped the burning home unharmed by running to a neighbor's house, where they called 911.

When fire crews arrived, flames where shooting out of the family room in the back of the house.

The cause of the fire is under investigation, though it is not considered suspicious. The State Fire Marshal said the house had no working smoke detectors.

The home sustained $50,000 in damage.
