McCourty Misses Practice, Welker Limited

FOXBORO (CBS) - Patriots corner Devin McCourty missed practice for the second straight day on Thursday.

McCourty suffered separated shoulder in the Patriots 37-16 win over the Jets on Sunday after getting hit by teammate Sterling Moore while trying to tackle Plaxico Burress.

McCourty currently leads the team with 59 tackles. If he cannot go on Monday night, Antwaun Molden will likely get his first career start.

Linebacker Brandon Spikes, who injured his right knee two weeks ago in New England's loss to the Giants, also missed practice. He has not hit the field since suffering the injury.

Linebacker Dane Fletcher was also missing, and will likely miss his fourth straight game on Monday.

14 Patriots were limited  in Thursdays practice, including receiver Wes Welker, who was listed with a knee injury. Safety Patrick Chung was also limited with a foot injury, after missing Sunday's game against the Jets.

The other 12 Patriots limited in practice on Thursday: Kyle Arrington (foot), Dan Connolly (groin),  Shaun Ellis (rib), Kevin Faulk (knee), BenJarvis Green-Ellis (toe), Gary Guyton (shoulder), James Ihedigbo (shoulder), Taylor Price (hamstring), Matthew Slater (shoulder), Nate Solder (concussion), Sebastian Vollmer (back), and Brian Waters (knee).

The rest of the Patriots practiced in sweats and shells inside the Dana Farber Field House as they get ready for their Monday night game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
