FAIRHAVEN (CBS) – Police are looking for a man who robbed a Comcast office on Huttleston Ave in Fairhaven Wednesday evening.

At about 4:30 p.m. the suspect showed a handgun and demanded money from the cashiers who fled. The man jumped over the counter and stole an undetermined amount of cash from the drawers.

The suspect is described as a thin white male approximately 5’5” tall in his late teens to early twenties with blue eyes. He was wearing a brown hooded sweatshirt, gloves sunglasses and make up or face paint to disguise his features.

Shortly after the robbery, a nearby Walgreens Pharmacy reported a suspicious male had just left the store. He had similarities to the suspect in the Comcast robbery, but had long blonde hair and was wearing black leggings under a pair of dark colored basketball shorts and a blue t-shirt.

Discarded clothing was found behind a nearby restaurant that police believe was dumped there by the robbery suspect.

Police are reviewing surveillance footage.
