Welcome To November

BOSTON (CBS) - We are in a quiet weather pattern after a stormy end to October, and the 'doldrums' are here to stay for at least the next handful of days.

Check: Current Conditions | Weather Map Center | Interactive Radar

Today will be a mixture of mid-high level clouds along with some sun.

Watch Melissa's forecast:

The bulk of the clouds will be across southeastern Mass.

A sprinkle is not completely out-of-the-question, but then again, it's not likely either.

Highs will be in the upper 40s where there's snowpack to the lower 50s for the Cape/Islands.

Boston will be hovering near 50F this afternoon.

The dry weather streak will continue through the weekend.

More clouds will be around from Thursday into Friday as high pressure shears apart a weakening cold front.

It will cross southern New England in a dry fashion,  but it will also drop high temps from 60F on Thursday to near 50F on Friday.

This weekend:

It will be a sun-filled Saturday with highs around 50F.

***Daylight Savings Time ends on Sunday @ 2 a.m. so don't forget that clocks 'fall' back one hour.

Sunday will be another beauty of a day with high temperatures in the middle 50s.

Melissa :)
