Check: Current Conditions | Weather Map Center | Interactive Radar
Yes, snow may be in the forecast later this week for the higher elevations north and west of the Boston.
Watch Melissa's forecast:
Until then, sunshine will prevail today as clouds begin to take over during the afternoon.
High temperatures will be in the upper 50s to lower 60s.
High pressure will lose its control to a weak cold front tonight.
This cold front will provide us with a few showers overnight.
The sun will be back on Tuesday.
A warm front/stationary front will apporach the area by midweek.
This will be bobbing back and forth on Wednesday and Thursday.
The clouds on Wednesday will produce morning showers that will begin to sag southward along the front throughout the day.
Another wave of low pressure will bring us heavier downpours on Thursday before the front exits Southern New England.
Thursday is the day when the higher elevations north and west of Boston may see some snowflakes!
Snow lovers and ski resorts will love that forecast!
Here is a glimpse of what we can check out this week as we observe our night sky.
