BOSTON (CBS) -While the New England Patriots enjoyed a bye week, tight end Rob Gronkowski took some time to visit some friends in Arizona, where he attended college.

He also made a new friend in the process.

Saturday night, Gronkowski and his friends met up with Bibi Jones, an adult film star. Gronk and Bibi hit it off pretty well,with Bibi singing high praise of of the Pats star.

“He’s very polite and he’s such a gentleman,” she told 98.5 The Sports Hub’s Toucher and Rich on Monday.

Their hang-out became public when Jones tweeted out a couple pictures of the two Saturday night, calling Gronk her “favorite football player.”

Adult Film Star Bibi Jones With Toucher & Rich: Gronk A Gentleman

Jones, who posed with a Gronkowski jersey in the pictures, revealed that Gronk brings the jersey around with him, just in case situations like this come up.

“He just carries that around with him… ‘Yeah, for times like this,’”she told T&R.

She also said the pictures and tweets were an attempt by Gronk to get more followers.

Jones said the two had not met before, but hopes to see him again.

This kind of reminds me of the scene in the movie “Cool Hand Luke” when Paul Newman escapes from prison and sends a picture back to the boys in jail, where Newman’s surrounded by a group of gorgeous women in the picture.
