SALEM (CBS) – Good weather means good money for businesses over the next couple weeks in Salem.

Merchants in the Halloween capital of the world say good weather in October almost always translates to a boost in business

The Witches Cottage in downtown Salem, is one of many places that depend on October traffic to pay the bills.

“All of our business for the Witches Cottage is in October,” said employee Polly Jean. “It means that we’re going to have long lines, hopefully.”
