Two pedestrians were seriously injured after they were hit by a car in Lowell on Sunday.
LOWELL (CBS) – Two pedestrians were seriously injured when they were hit by a car in Lowell on Sunday.
A 17-year-old female driving with three passengers struck a 46-year-old woman near Mammoth Road and 8th Avenue. The teen then drove another 20 feet before striking 22-year-old woman who was entering her parked car.
The pedestrians were taken to Lowell General Hospital with serious injuries.
The teen driver and one of her passengers were taken to that hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Lowell police are investigating.
