Felger & Massarotti continued the day talking about the worst part of the coaching and game preparation in yesterday’s Patriots loss to the Bills.

There were a few mistakes in yesterday’s loss that stand out because the Patriots usually don’t make those mistakes. After Green-Ellis was stopped twice in a row with 5 minutes left in the game, the Patriots call a timeout. Was this poor timing for the use of a timeout? After the timeout, Mankins jumped offsides and the Pats took the penalty. How can a you get called for penalty when coming out of a timeout? Was the use of a timeout then getting the penalty a sign of bad football?

Is a lack of balance a problem for the Patriots? With all the passing and scoring, is the lack of rest for the defense hurting them? Do the Patriots have to start slowing things down on offense?

Does Belichick not trust his defense?
