Quincy Looking To Expand Cemetery Into Designated Snake Habitat

QUINCY (CBS) - Quincy is looking to drive snakes out of the city.

Officials want take over an area near the 50-acre Pine Hill Cemetery that's currently a state-designed habitat for rattlesnakes and copperhead snakes. Both are considered endangered species.

The city wants to expand the cemetery to include thousands of new burial plots.

The current number of burial plots within the Pine Hill Cemetery is running low.
